1958 Jaguar XK150S DHC

Registration number: PRX555

Chassis number: S824523DN

Delivered new via Henleys London on the 8th June 1958 as a Cotswold Blue with grey hide Right Hand Drive FHC with overdrive.  This car has had a massive restoration & rebuild to full S spec with triple carbs & all the S bits added to put it in the triple carb "S" DHC form we find it in today.

The car has been under fastidious ownership where no expense has been spared as witnessed by the massive file of bills including a very recent full engine rebuild.  The car was previously sold by ourselves & after 8 or so years of wonership is ciming back in identical condition to how it left having been regularly serviced & garaged when not in use with minimal miles being added each year.

The car is finished in its original colour of Cotswold Blue with the paint being in utterly superb order.  To the interior is lovely tan leather to the bucket stye seats with matching tan carpets.  The dash board is of burr walnut.  The list of works completed to the car is extensive, as follows:

ORIGINAL ENGINE AND GEAR-BOX [MOSS + O/D]
ORIGINAL COLOUR, COTSWOLD BLUE
MODIFICATIONS:
Interior trim changed from grey to biscuit
Bench seat replaced with bucket seats
Wood- veneered dashboard fitted

Whilst clearly not one for the purists, this is definietly one for those who are drivers who use their cars extensively.  Snesible upgrades have been incorporated to make this an excellent driving car.  It is on the button in fine order & ready for extended motoring.  This is a car that you have to drive back to back with an orignal example to appreciate how much better it drives.
