1935 Bentley Speed 8 Petersen Lemans Special

This car was completed by Bob Petersen Engineering to a very high standard. The gearbox is a modified Bentley MK VI, whilst the overdrive is a Petersen Laycock unit.
In beautiful British racing green, the interior is green Connolly leather with green Wilton wool carpet. It has an ash frame wide body Le Mans style with high back seats fitted with heated seat base and back lumbar support.
There is a folding screen with aero screens, and double duck hood with tonneau cover. Wind excluders are present on the side. Twin leather saddles feature on the doors. Furthermore, there is an exterior locking toolkit with leather straps. A smart leather map pocket also features. The dashboard machine is turned aluminium with team car instruments.
The engine is a stright eight B80 ex military unit fitted with a quartet of carburettors. New old stock when the engine was fitted it is in really fine running condition starting instantly & giving very considerable performance from the 6.5 litre capacity.
These Petersen cars are rare & beautifully crafted & benefit from being built upon an original Perid Derby Bentley Chassis making it easy to register in other countries.
