Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1926 Rolls Royce Hooper owner driver six light saloon for sale. A delightful little Rolls Royce 20hp supplied new via Caffyns to one D.K. Hall Esq of Eastbourne. Coachwork is by Hooper in their usual inimitable quality and takes the form of an owner driver six light saloon with the front seats being adjustable to suit different statures of driver. The mahogany interior woodwork has been beautifully refinished. The door inserts have a pleasant marquetry bead running round the edges.
This Rolls Royce 20hp comes to us with some large bills for mechanical re-building in both French & Dutch minutely detailing the extensive works undertaken. As a result, the engine runs in silence and is one of the sweetest 20hp engines we have come across. The Rolls Royce engine bay is extremely tidy and gives a feeling of having been well cared for.
The interior of this Rolls Royce 20hp is original grey ‘West of England’ wool cloth. The seats are very serviceable and have been additionally preserved by the last owners keeping the seats covered with travelling rugs. To the exterior is a three tone paint scheme predominately in black and blue but with grey accents and grey wire wheels. A capacious motoring trunk is fitted to the rear below the quaint oval rear window. The coachwork is quite upright and imbues the car with a period feel to it.
