Vintage and Prestige Fine Motor Cars are proud to be offering this 1930 Rolls Royce Phantom II GF8142 for sale. Ordered new in 1930 and originally delivered to Major Stewart Dawson at the Hotel Splendid, Piccadilly London with Thrupp and Maberly open Tourer coachwork.
Recipient of a major restoration; this 1930 Rolls Royce Phantom II Lincoln GF8142 has had major works undertaken to trim, body and mechanics.
The body is a Lincoln style tourer constructed from aluminum in the 1980s and finished to a beautiful standard. The paintwork is recent and is thus, in fantastic order throughout being finished in two shades of red.
To the interior is brand new burgundy Leather complimented by maroon carpets. The leather work has been completed to a very high standard and is a credit to the trimmer. A highly polished Burr Walnut dash board is fitted which retains the cars original compliment of instruments. The body is spacious in the extreme with ample room up front for those of less than svelte built.
The hood is also new and is of pale beige giving the car a very Gatsbyesque appearance. It is a car that garners attention wherever it goes and makes quite a statement. A wind out second windscreen screen emerges from the center cowl affording protection to the rear passengers. A useful storage trunk is fitted to the rear.
The engine has been fully rebuilt and has been to Marque Specialists the Priory Vintage Car Co for a full tune up, thus the 1930 Rolls Royce Phantom II Lincoln GF8142 is in perfect running order.
The engine was rebuilt and runs beautifully. It is powerful, quiet and as a Rolls Royce Phantom ought to be. It starts readily, exhibits good oil pressure & runs cool. This is a way way above average Pahntom 2 in impeccable running condition.
