1989 DAIMLER DOUBLE SIX AUTO
Vin Number: SAJDDALW3CA481623
Registration Number: G853NTO
This V12-powered Daimler Double Six was registered in August 1989 and was supplied new to former Labour politician and cabinet minister Lord Varley by Paramount of Derby and serviced by that company until until 2001.
It is finished in Solent Blue with Savile Grey hide and walnut veneer with Kent alloy wheels, electric sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control and onboard computer. It is running and driving beautifully with no issues, and has been driven 100 or so miles since arriving with us. Paperwork includes the V5C, some MoTs back to 2002, invoices, and a copy of the front cover of Classic Cars magazine with the Daimler on it. There's also the book pack with owner's handbook, some old tax discs, and the service book with the last entry at 58,700 miles in February 2022. There's also the original cassette owner's guide for the stereo radio.
The service book has masses of main dealer stamps in it warranting the low mileage of 60,000 as of last week. This will increase slightly as its too nice not to be used on occasion. It drives like a new car & is simply a lovely place to sit whilst ensconced in old world Jaguar charm. Always garaged from new the car is corrosion free & in really really fine condition.
The original tool kit is in its appointed place in the boot as is a fire extinguisher. The car comes with its book pack as supplied with the car when new. The paintwork is in excellent order thoughout as are the alloy wheels. The interior doe skin leather is of the highest quality & looks almost like new & un sat in.
