1954 Jaguar XK140 SE Fixed Head Coupe (FHC) with C type head - matching number car in very fine condition

Chassis Number:  S814276

Registration Number: Belgium EEC Taxes Paid.

A really nice lightly patinated & very useable XK140 Fixed head coupe.  This car has been the recipient of much recent expenditure including an upgrade to disc brakes & the fitting of power steering making the car very easy to drive in modern conditions.

Under the bonnet is a lusty 3.4 Litre twin cam in rude health & benefitting from the more pwerful C type head.  It starts readily & makes all the right noises with serious speed available when pressed hard.  A Kenlowe fan has sensibly been mounted up front for additional cooling on hot days.  Oil pressure is excellent from the rebuilt engine which runs at around 60 degrees

Exterior paint is mid metallic grey which suits the car admirably along with red wire wheels.  The red leather interior is in very nice condition having been replaced with new a few years ago as was the headlining & boot liner.  Matching red carpets complete the ensemble.  All the original burr walmut wood work is in situ  with its semi gloss factory finish.

The entire fuel system was redesigned, ensuring optimal fuel delivery and driving pleasure.
