1975 Jensen Interceptor Convertible Series 3
Chassis Number: 2340/1035
Registration Number: LGP65P
Ready February 2025. This Jensen is currently undergoing a nut & bolt restoration to as new with completion early next year with a renowned UK restoration company noted for their high quality & attention to detail.
When new the car was painted in a slightly lurid magenta colour. The restorers have toned it down a little using a more restrained Porsche metallic paint scheme. The interior is being done in cream hide along with burgundy carpets. A beautifully fitting black mohair hood completes the ensemble.
The car comes with both UK & EEC registration papers. It also has a copy of the facotry build sheets from when it was new.
This needless to say is an exhaustive nut & bolt photogrphic restoration to the highest standards & is like a Brand new Jensen being delivered 50 years late. Being a late car from last year of producton it comes with the larger 7 litre V8 engine displacing some 440 cubic inches. THe car is very rare being one of just 267 examples produced most of which went to the USA market.
The car may be viewed by appointment south of Derby prior to the restoration being completed & of course discussed in detail with the restorers.
