1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 3 Flying Spur by H.J. Mulliner

Chassis number:  SHS311C

Registration Number:  2HKH (By Separate Negotiation.)

One of 35 Right Hand Drive examples produced by noted coach builders H.J. Mulliner.  This car formed part of the Boros collection of a number of similar Flying Spur cars that were sold off some years ago by the unlamented Coys auction house.  A huge restoration was performed upon it including a full repaint & new leather interior.

The car is in impeccable order with excellent & striking cream paintwork.  To the interior is Brand new St James red leather piped in cream along with red carpets.  The story continues under the bonnet with an immaculate engine bay in like new condition.

The car is finished in a pale cream colour.  Please note that in real life the car is much lighter in colour & less yellow then the photographs suggest.  The paint is immaculate & of recent origin.  To the interior is a wonderful St James red leather piped in cream along with mirror finished burr walnut to the dash board. A brand new beige headlining has recently been fitted in high quality west of England cloth.

The engine bay is highly detailed to show standards & has had a modern air conditioning unit installed.  The vents in the cabin have been fabricated & installed to match the dash board & are thus beautifully done & unobtrusive.

The car was specified from new with electric windows all round & also an emergency hand window winder for use should any of the windows fail to proceed.  The car also came with white wall tyres, an electric ariel, Reutter seats, luggage straps & unusually a Philips record player, with wool rugs under foot.

The boot contains period luggage, a wicker picnic set, champagne glasses in a wicker carrying case & also cut glass tumblers in a similar case.

The car overall is in impeccable condition & drives beautifully.  It forms part of a small private collection of significant coach built Rolls Royce & Bentley motor cars. The owner is now ready to part with it along with other car in the collection due to his advancing years.

Viewings are by appointment near Folkestone race course.
