This car was just driven by me & a friend to Rome & back from Edinburgh in support of the "My name is Dodie" charity for motor neurone disease to attend the Scotland VS Italy rugby match. It performed the trip with aplomb wafting along the French D roads effotlessly & at over 70MPH on the Italian autostrada. The gear box is supe smooth & the engine refined & powerful. A full service was completed on the car by Colbrook specialists. Routing was Murrayfield to Portsmouth for the overnight to Caen. Thence to Sarlat, Antibes, Montepulcianto & last day to Rome.
Supplied New by Joseph Cockshoot of Manchester to a Mr Taylor of Llandudno in North Wales. The car was specified wth a maroon interior & turor of shell grey paintwork; colours that it remains in to this day. In the early 1970's the car was in Florida prior to being repatriated around 2013
A really lovely enthusiastic owned example in traditional tudor over Shell grey. The paint is recent from a bare metal respray & presnts beautifully to the point that the car has one several prizes at local car shows.
To the interior is original Maroon leather all in very good lightly patinated condition. The car is an automatic version making it a pleasure to drive. Assoted bills come with the car for service work & also an owners diary detailling the use of the car & the things that have been done to it such as converting the lights & turn signals to LED's etc.
This Dawn is in way above average condition & presents beautifully. It has just arrived with us & is ready for immediate viewings. The engine is silent & powerful; the ride smooth & undulating. This is a car in way above average condition & clearly has had care lavished upon it by the previous owners.
