 This stunning 20HP will certainly be noticed along the road; finished in the striking colour combination of Yellow and Black, with yellow wire wheels to match. The door surround is also finished in black, which achieves in breaking up the colour and highlighting the beautifully styled body.

 There are running boards to both sides, finished in aluminium with the drivers side housing the battery and the passenger side a storage box, there is also a large storage trunk to the rear.

 The front compartment is finished in black leather throughout with pocket compartments to both doors. The dashboard is filled with all of the correct working period instruments.

 Opening the rear door you are met by an abundance of West of England Cloth, beautiful woodwork and Hooper makers’ plates, all in excellent condition. The partition is full with storage compartments, a drinks cabinet, a Smiths clock and the usual cigar tray. 

 GUJ47 was ordered by Windovers Limited on the 14th of October 1927, on completion the chassis was immediately sent to Windovers to be bodied. In post war years the decision to improve the appearance of the 20 was made and the Hooper body you see today was expertly fitted.

The car has just had a full bottom end engine rebuild by a local specialist utilizing new parts from Fiennes Engineering. As a consequence it starts intantly & runs  as a 20hp ought.  It is a pleasure to drive & has a very period look to it.
