A beaufifully restored Austin 20hp with its rebuild being completed in 2011. The car was prior to then off the road between 1940 & 2011 thus keeping the miles off it & making for a taut tight car as we find it today.
The car has had a full rebuild & is in fine running condition with ample power from the robust 3.6 litre engine. The car has been fitted with overdrive making it very long legged on the road.
The exterior is beautiful Maroon paint over black wings all in fine condition. To the interior is immaculate pale grey leather with maroon carpeting throughout. A large hood easily erects to provide shelter on inclement days. This is a lage spacious car well suited to carrying 4 passengers in comfort.
A 1936 Tax Disc has been inseterd in the license holder stamped by Devon County Council. To the running board is a Pratts Petroleum Spirit gallon container for those not driving in a prescient manner.
The car exhibits a surprisingly fast turn of speed from the large capacity engine which starts readily & has ample power. The car sits on 4 wire wheels shod with excellent Rirestone 6 ply tyres. An unused spare is fitted to the drives side running board. A fish tail style exhaust finishes off the period looking ensemble. A perfect car for summer picnics & B road Jaunts.
