Maintained over the last decade without regard to expense. This Lovely Alvis TD21 is in first rate condition thoughout. It has seen regular servicing both at Marque specialists Red Triangle & also Early Engineering. Prior to the current ownwership it belonged to the proprietor or Rolls Royce specialists The Priory Vintage car company who maintained the car during this period.
Needless to say, the car wants for nothing & drives beautifully. It is finished in a fetching colour of burgundy maroon with cream leather to the interior in superb order. Rather then being brand new the interior exhibits a very light patina of use & frankly is all the better for it.
The dash board is finished in lashings of Burr Walnut in the best British Tradition all in beautiful order. A lovely thin rimmed Burr walnut steering wheel, tactile upon the touch & falling readily to hand completes the ensemble. The hood is a snug fit & erecting it or lowering it is the work of a moment.
Under the bonnet the 3 litre straight six is well detailed & in fine fettle given the extensive bills that come with it. Being a post 1960 car it is equipped with disc brakes all round giving excellent stopping power. The body built by no lesser persons then Rolls Royce Coach builders Park Ward in in fine order. Capable of well over 100MPH when new the car is absolutely at home in fast A Road motoring conditons.
This is a car ready for immediate use & I would have no heistation in leaping in it & setting off for the south of France or similar with a full quotient of luggage in the capacious boot & possibly the urchins in the back; the carbeing a very capable long distance 4 seater in the traditions of a Grand Routier.
