1973 Jaguar E type V12 Convertible RHD Manual OTS
Chassis number: TBA
Registration Number: 444KXE
This V12 E type roadster was the subject of a massive nut & bolt photographic restoration some years ago & has since covered a scant 2600 dry miles. The restoration was commissioned without regard to expense with the brief to make the car as modern day useable as possible. Since then it has been very little used residing in a heated garage with very occasional outings.
The specification for the build was comprehensive including upgraded suspension, brakes & a 5 speed manual gear box making the car a very relaxed drive at high continental speeds. Eyerything else was totally rebuilt at massive expense.
The car is finished in flawless Primrose yellow & a new convertible mohair hood. To the interior is chocolate brown leather piped in beige along with beige carpets. A full burr walnut dash board has also been installed along with a wooden Moto-Lita steering wheel. & period looking radio. The car sits on 4 chrome wire wheels with knock off hubs.
The tuned V12 engine is absolutley flawless in operation & turbine smooth providing serious performance. The car is needless to say immaculate under the bonnet. If you are looking for a sorted drives car greatly improved from the original item then this one is well well worth a look. I have not yet had one that drives better then this example.
