One of just 192 examples produced, this car is about as hairy chested as they come with more power & less weight then a contmporary AC cobra. The car was purchased with a view to classic racing & has had massive amounts of money spent upon it totalling well over £60,000.
The 289 cubic inch (4.74 Litre) engine has been totally & utterly rebuilt with serious performance modifications so it now puts out 342 HP compared to the original units 271hp. A dyno sheet comes with the car. The car has full FIA papers & has been used for a number of historic racing events as assorted windscreen scrutineering stickers attest. The car is thus read for imediate use in historic events including the Goodwood Revival.
A huge file of bills & restoration photographs comes with the car detaiing the massive works undertaken to it. This is not a car for the faint of heart & offers a passport to the historic racing scene for those wishng to compete in a competitive car. It features in the book: "The Griffith Years" by Mike Mooney on page 70.
