1931 Lagonda 2 Litre T2 Low Chassis Tourer.
Chassis number: OH10038
Registration number: AR-02-85
Immaculately restored, this car started life as a T2 low chassis tourer as indeed it is today. The car has covered 10,000 miles or so since the engine was rebuilt & the body fully restored covering limited mileage each year.
To the interior is Maroon leather throughout in simply lovely condition along with maroon carpets. A brand new black full tonneau cover keeps the elements at bay. The exterior is black fabric to the body panels along with black painted wings & bonnet. The chassis is burgundy making for a very fine looking ensemble indeed. The car comes with a new hood & newly refinished side screens. A Kenlowe fan is fitted, but the owner reports he has never had recourse to use it as the car runs cool in hot weather & traffic.
Mechanically the car is superb. The rebuilt twin cam engine fires readily & provides ample power for the light body. The car has the cycle type wings that turn in unision with the front wheels. The original tear drop running boards are also in situ.
This is an impeccable car that has been superbly looked after since restoration. We will be doing a full set of pictures as soon as the car arrives with us towards the end of April unless already sold. It comes with a good assortment of paperwork, correspondence & pictures dating back to the Early 1950's
