1938 BMW 327/328 Cabriolet

Chassis number: 74289

In Switzerland since the 1960's.  This BMW 327 has been converted in period to Triple Carb 328 specification.  It comes to us from an estate sale of the late owner & is located near Lake Maggiore in southern Switzerland.

The car is in fine condition having always been looked after by the local classic car garage.  It is finsihed in primrose yellow over black with the paint being in fine order throughout.  To the interior is lovely very lightly patinated tan leather with matching brown carpets.  A Swiss title comes with the car.

The car has a very original feel to it with correct instrumentation to the dash as fitted when new.  The roof is recently redone in mohair & is of a fine quality easily opening after releasing two catches.  The car sits on its original pressed steel wheels with knock off hub spinners.  The rear seatback folds forwards allowing access to the rear luggage area.

The car has been sparingly used in the last decade due to the advancing age of the last owner.  It will be sold freshly serviced & ready to be rallied & driven.  Please note that this is a genuine pre war BMW with correct pre war chassis number & details rather then a later post war car.
