The car is presented with as new two tone paintwork in two shades of green & cream. Likewise the green interior lether is in superb condition having been recently done. The door tops are chrome & the dash-board painted cream in the de-rigeur style of the maharajah cars. Gun racks are fitted to the rear & also to the front passenger seat allowing for a quick reach for ones double barrelled Purdy 450 nitro express should a Tiger appear unexpectedly.
King Raghuraj Singh was born in 1880 & as Maharajah of Rewa he became one of the greatest Tiger Hunters. King Raghuraj Singh commissioned this special Rolls Royce in 1929 in England. It was purpose built for his hunting trips in Rewa. The King had already harvested 91 Tigers prior to his Rolls Royce arriving. On his first trip in this very special Rolls ROyce the King detected the legendary white Tiger & from that day on the car was known as The White Tiger. Deeply impreswsed he did not shoot the white Tiger but instead had it trapped & founded a breeding colony of the animals in his private reserve.
