Chassis number: CAL55

Body Number: 4146

This rare SCT100 non division car comes to us from single family ownership since new.  We are selling it on behalf of the lady owner who inherited it from her late father who ordered the car new.  The car comes to us with one of the most extensive sets of paperowrk I have ever seen including numerous letters between Jack Barclay & James young detailing assorted special order items.  An assortment of coloured James young original brochures come with the car.  There is also paperwork pertaining to the owners previous car an S1 flying spur that was traded in against this car.

The car is finished in two tone fawn over brown paint with the paint being original to the car.   To the interior is beige leather in lovely order throughout.  The drivers seat base has been replaced early in the cars life & was done under warranty by Connolly as the owner was dissatisfied after a couple of years use with the original supplied with the car.  There is correspondence in the file to substantiate this.  Woodwork is in good order extending to the picnic tables fitted to the rear.

A full set of seven fitted luggage case was ordered for the car from James Young when it was new.  These come with the car as do the originbal James Young working drawings for the Luggage.  A fabric strip is located in the glove box designed to unroll & secure along the top of the Dash Board to prevent the dash wood from bleaching when left in the sun.

This car really is a time warp & comes with extraordinary documentation. Always correctly maintained, the car drives beautifully.  It has covered a documented 83,767 miles from new.  The gear box is utterly smooth & silent.  The car starts instantly & the engine runs in silence with ample power.  The car was sent back every year to London to have a s full service performed by Jack Barclays.   A full tool kit is located in the boot.

Simply put; I have not handled a more original Silver Cloud then this nor one with such a wonderful pedigree & known history.
