1936 Delahaye 135M Chapron 3 position Drophead

Chassis number: 47390

Registration number:  H0058BBB (Spanish)

Under long-term Spanish ownership.  This car has resided in a southern Spanish collection prior to being purchased in Barcelona from the previous owner of some 2 decades.

The coachwork is by noted Parisian builder Henri Chapron & takes the form of a stylish three position drophead.  The car is finished in immaculate two-tone pale grey paintwork.  To the interior is brand new cognac coloured leather along with matching carpets.  The fine vertically grained woodwork has also been removed & refinished.

Under the bonnet, the car is very tidy with a lusty six cylinder engine fuelled by triple carburettors.  It starts readily & pulls strongly as might be expected from the multi-carb setup.  The car is due in with us in the next few weeks at which time we will do a full photo shoot to our usual exacting standards.

With the Figoni & Falashi examples selling in the millions, this example looks to be excellent value.  It is only being sold to make room in the garage for a beautiful Derby Bentley we recently sold into the collection.
